Merry mince pies...
Mince pies with a twist! After reading a post by Nicki from Homebird about some very scrumptious mince pies that she had baked ( after seeing them herself on cherry Menloves blog ) I couldn't resist the temptation to make some myself, especially as they are made with shop bought ingredients....sometimes a little cheating doesn't hurt! there is homemade frosting though ( I had to add a little milk to the frosting)....Go on have a go......

hi! love your blog :) I've never ,made mince pies, because i figure that for just over a pound i can get nice ones from the shop with no effort, funny as i do make cakes and buns..i dont know why i feel different about mince pies. and ive never thought about it as much as i am right now! lol!
